Kangra, a charming and historic town just 17 km away from Dharamshala, is one of the prettiest valley of the Himachal Praedesh. This valley is full of ancient forts and temples built by Rajputs, a warrior race of India. It overlooks a gushing stream known as Banganaga. The exquisite Pahari style of miniature painting that flourished during the reign of Raja Sansar Chand (1775—1823). Among the famous temples are Kangra temple of goddess Bajreshwari, the Jawalaji-goddess of lights and Chamunda Devi. It is renowned for it is legendry wealth and craftsmanship.
Day 1 : Arrive Mcleodganj
Arrive Mcleodganj (Dharamshala) and check into the hotel, Rest till upto lunch. After lunch lecture on mountain walking then visit to H H Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple, and Tibetan market, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Sightseeing Day
After breakfast visit to Palampur, Nature park, Tea Garden, Norbulingka Institute and goddess Chamunda temple with pack lunch. Back to hotel by late evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 3 : Visit Kangra
After breakfast visit to Kanga Fort, Kangra temple, War Memorial, Kangra Art Gallery with Pack Lunch. Back to hotel by late evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 4: Mcleodganj Sightseeing
After breakfast visit to Church, Dal Lake, lunch en route and then departure.
