Har ki dun is a good trek for beginners. It gives you an interesting Himalayan experience. The trail takes you through ancient villages where you can watch and understand their unique culture and lifestyle. The Har ki Dun valley is accessible through Govind National Park in both summer and winter. This is a valley trek where you trek along the Supin River to Har Ki Dun valley. The trail to is known for its rich variety of flora and fauna.

Day 1 : Arrive at Dehradun in the morning and drive to the tiny hamlet Sankri, which is the origin point of Har Ki Dun Trek. (Appx time 8 hrs Ht2000m)

Day 2 : Trek from Sankri to Taluka (Distance 12km )

Day 3 : Trek from Taluka to Osla (Ht. 2600m) during trek one can enjoy the amazing views of sparwling  wild orchids also one can encounter the wildlife like Barking Deer, Bores, Leopards etc.

Day 4 : Trek from Osla to Har Ki Dun (Distance10km  Ht  3500m)  It is a gradual trek, during this trek one can enjoy the pleasant views of Valleys, plains and towering mountains.

Day 5 : Trek from Har Ki Dun to Jaundhar Glacier ( Ht 4300m) and back to Har ki Dun (Distance 15km Appx time 7 to 8hrs)

Day 6 : Trek from Har Ki Dun to Osla . Today is a downhill trek (Distance 11km Appx time 3 to 4 hrs)

Day 7 : Trek from Osla to Sankri. Today is longest day of this beautiful trek, so we will coevr the distance of 25 km through steeper terrain.

Day 8 : Drive from Sankri to Dehradun (Distance 200km / 6 to7 hrs).
