Kareri Lake is situated North West of Kareri Village and is at the foot of the Minkiani Pass. Apart from the lake’s natural beauty, the trek itself goes through beautiful forests and rural villages and winds up at this lonely temple on the banks of Kareri Lake. This trek is hard in certain places only and is ideal for all ages.
Day 1: Arrival at Kareri village (2200m). It is a beautiful village with scenic view, rest for a while then after evening snacks we will go for acclimatization walk. Bonfire in the evening, dinner and overnight stay will be in the tents/ Home stay.
Day 2: After breakfast trek to Karei Lake with Pack Lunch. The trek is beautiful which goes through thick forest, and running streams. Kareri lake is nestled in the foot of Minkiani Pass (13 kms/3-4 hrs). Overnight stay will be in the tents.
Day 3: After early breakfast we will gain the height towards MInkiani Pass till 9:00 am then back to kareri Lake after having lunch we will be trek down to Kareri Viilage and then transferred to Bus Stand to catch the bus for onward journey.
