The trek to the pass is long and goes over soft snow and a number of icy streams covered with hard snow have to be negotiated during the end of March and provides a very scenic view of both Chamba and Kangra valleys and offers distant view of Middle and Great Himalayas. The other side of the pass remains snow covered until the last July.
Day1 : Arrival in Mcleodganj
Arrive Mcleodganj (Dharamshala) and check into the hotel. Rest till up to lunch. After lunch briefing and lecture on mountain walking then visit to H H Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple, and Tibetan market, overnight at hotel.
Day2: Trek to Triund
After breakfast trek to Triund. The height of this place is 9325 ft and is famous as trekkers’ paradise is a gate way to Chamba valley via famous Inderhara Pass in the evening lecture on camping and camp hygiene and mountain hazards, overnight stay will be in the tents at Triund.
Day3 : Trek to Inderahara Pass
Expedition to Inderhara pass (14000 ft) with pack lunch and then back to campsite, Overnight stay will be at Triund.
Day4 : Return trek to Mcleodganj
After breakfast start descend to Mcleodganj, hot lunch will be served at the hotel in the evening culture programme. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day5 : Departure after early breakfast.
